Where were you on the evening of February 9, 1964? I was glued to my
parents black and white TV set taking pictures of the screen with my trusty instamatic camera.
In between squeals of joy, of course. Hey, we didn't have VCRs in those days so this was the
best I could come up with. I had pictures of all four Beatles but these two are the only photos that survived
the years.
Do you remember what the Fab Four sang on their first three Sullivan appearances?
Feb 9 "All My Loving" (my personal favorite), "Till There was You", "She Loves You," "I Saw her Standing There" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand."
Feb 16 "She Loves You", "This Boy", "All My Loving", "I Saw Her Standing There," "From Me To You"
and "I Want To Hold Your Hand."
Feb 23 "Twist and Shout,"Please Please Me" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand"
